Tim began working with the District in October 1991. Tim manages all District related programs, such as, human relations, finance, stormwater program, engineering, etc.

Gayle began working with the District in October 1994. Gayle manages all human relations and accounting functions for the entire District as well as accounting responsibilities for the Delaware Association of Conservation Districts (DACD), is Treasurer for the Delaware Envirothon and Delaware Conservation District Employees Association (DCDEA).
Stephanie Walt

Stephanie began working with the District in August 2022. Stephanie spends her time researching and applying for grant funding for conservation programs for the District. She tracks the deliverable grant requirements and files the necessary reports for the awarded grants.
Alisa Bentley

Alisa began working with the District in January 2015. She is the District’s liaison to the Board of Supervisors.
Beverly Darling

Beverly began working with the District in September 2001. As the receptionist, Beverly is the primary contact for all customer relations. She spends her days assisting clients, either in person or via telephone, by providing information regarding the District’s programs.
Nutrient Management

Virginia began working with the District in February 2023. Virginia works with our farmers on nutrient management planning, cover crop programs, and works with USDA-NRCS to implement federal programs. Virginia is a certified nutrient management planner.

They work with our farmers on conservation planning, nutrient management planning, cover crop programs, and work with USDA-NRCS to implement federal programs. Jared Adkins, P.E.

Jared Adkins graduated from the University of Delaware in Agricultural Engineering and is a Delaware Registered Professional Engineer. Prior to joining the Kent Conservation District, he worked for several local consulting firms providing geotechnical and environmental engineering, construction inspection and project management services. Since 1999, Jared has served as the Program Manager.

RW began working with the District in April of 2014, his main task as an Engineering Inspector is to monitor active construction sites. You may see RW on his way to a site in the southern portion of Kent County.

Sean began working with the District in August of 2016. As the Urban Conservationist, he performs post construction inspections on Stormwater BMP’s. A large portion of Sean’s day is spent coordinating with Home Owner Associations wishing to join the Kent County Stormwater Maintenance District.

Kurt manages Drainage Improvement Projects for the District, and the State of Delaware’s Resource Conservation & Development Program.
Tax Ditch/Drainage Assistance

Gene began working with the District in May 1983. Gene manages the Tax Ditch Program, coordinating all maintenance activities for tax ditches throughout Kent County. He is the District’s liaison to the DNREC Tax Ditch Section and responds to calls received from the public regarding tax ditch drainage issues.

Danny began working with the District in October 2021 and is involved in a variety of tasks for drainage improvement projects as well as assisting the Stormwater Program with plan review. He is also our resident photographer and licensed drone operator.

Mike has been an asset to the team since April of 1990. He manages and approves projects to improve drainage in Kent County and at times assists the tax ditch program.
